Welcome to Pryorville Woodcraft!
Hi, I’m Chris Pryor — and together with my wife, Caryn, we’re proud to welcome you to Pryorville Woodcraft.
Though our business officially launched in May 2024, my love for woodworking goes back decades. When I was 10, my parents, Red and Sue Pryor, bought land in Flagler County, Florida, along with a century-old fixer-upper. Our family spent the next 20 years bringing that house back to life, and it was there that I learned the value of craftsmanship and hard work.
In 1986, Caryn and I built our own log home on part of that same land — using the skills my father taught me. Over the years, other family members joined us, and someone affectionately nicknamed our little corner of the world “Pryorville.” The name stuck, and today it represents the heart behind every piece we create.
After a 30-year career as a science teacher, principal, and mentor, I retired in 2020 and finally built the woodshop I’d always dreamed of. I’ve spent a lifetime crafting tables, signs, wood art, church pieces, and unique gifts for friends and neighbors. Turning that passion into a small business was a natural next step.
At Pryorville Woodcraft, every item is handcrafted with care and intention — made to be touched, treasured, and shared. There’s nothing better than seeing someone’s face light up as they run their hand across the smooth finish of something made just for them.
Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful gift, a custom sign, or a one-of-a-kind piece for your home, we’d be honored to build it for you. If you don’t see exactly what you have in mind, reach out — we love bringing new ideas to life.
Welcome to the Pryorville family. We’re glad you’re here.
